White Other is a 20 minutes piece for the camera where the female performer paints her own body in white in order to reclaim her own layers, boundaries and identity. The brushstroke is firmly mapping out the body empowering it to spew out the imposed bordering of women as passive objects of scrutiny, surveillance and desire. The female body paints it's own way to mark a territory of female subjectivity, a canvas where a new language seeks to express it's own image. The lines between image/image maker and object/subject are being pushed and challenged.

The piece stands as a protest against the continuing othering of women by the white male society and against the 'White Other' label imposed to Eastern Europeans by White Brexit Britain.
