Madam Kazmi and the drivers, short documentary film

The film consists of fragments from the day to day life of Zahida Kazmi who is Pakistan's first female taxi driver. In one them Zahida talks her way out of a speeding ticket; then she helps with her daughter’s homework; and she's leading a protest along with her fellow drivers from the union. She is also a warrior who has survived early abuse. Yet this is also a universal portrait where Zahida becomes any woman in a man’s world who has to forcefully push her way in order to drive between class and gender politics on a day to day basis.
